Exile will provide cash rewards up
to $2,000 through Crime Solvers for tips that directly lead to a
prompt arrest for a firearm crime. Tipsters may call Crime Solvers
anonymously to report firearm crime in progress, the location of
an individual wanted for a firearm crime, or information that could
assist law enforcement in solving a firearm crime.
Urgent calls for crimes in progress should be reported
immediately to 911 or directly to your local law enforcement agency
when a prompt response is required. You may still be eligible for
a cash reward.
Exile and Crime Solvers do NOT pay victims and witnesses
for their
testimony in court.
If you think you may be eligible for a reward you
should contact Crime Solvers or the police officer to whom you provided
the information and ask them to file a request for an award from
Exile.
The amount of a reward is determined by the Crime
Solvers Board. They consider factors such as the quality and timeliness
of the information provided, whether the information leads directly
to an arrest, whether an arrest is made for a firearm crime, the
type and number of firearms seized, the seriousness of the crime,
the arrestee's criminal history, and whether drugs are involved.
It usually takes from 30 to 60 days to receive a
reward. Rewards are picked up by the informant anonymously at a
local bank.
The highest reward given by Exile so far is $2,000
for information that resulted in an arrest for a homicide. There
have been many rewards for $200 and $500.
Call Crime Solvers today if you know a minor, drug
dealer or felon who is carrying a handgun. |
