The mission of Wicomico EXILE is to reduce violent crimes committed with a firearm in Wicomico County. This will be accomplished by law enforcement aggressively investigating and prosecuting all firearm crimes in conjunction with a publicity and outreach campaign all designed to deter firearm crime.

The objective of Wicomico EXILE is to keep firearms out of the hands of dangerous criminals, NOT to further restrict legal gun possession and ownership by law abiding citizens. Wicomico EXILE's focus is on aggressively enforcing current Maryland and Federal firearm laws that prohibit convicted felons, drug dealers, violent criminals and minors from possessing firearms, especially handguns. EXILE is about crime control, NOT gun control. We recognize that it is the person that makes a gun dangerous. Hunters, sportsmen and other law abiding citizens have nothing to fear from Wicomico EXILE.
